For child contact centres

Calmer handovers, with nothing new for your centre to do.

Families who use a contact centre still have to arrange everything around the visit: the times, who brings what, what the child needs. ParentGlow gives both homes one calendar and handover notes they can both see, so there’s less to sort out face to face. Your centre doesn’t need an account for families to use it.

  • No new work for centres
  • No observation or reports
  • No listings or rankings

Around the visit

Less to arrange at the door.

  1. Before

Visit times go into one calendar both homes can see, so nobody turns up on the wrong day. A handover note can carry what the child needs: medicine, a comfort toy, homework.

  2. On the day

A parent who’s running late can tell the other parent in the app. They still need to tell the centre directly, the way the centre asks.

  3. Afterwards

Both homes see the same record of what was arranged, instead of two memories of it.

  4. Moving on

When a family is ready to manage handovers without a centre, the calendar and notes they’ve been using simply carry on.

Your role, left as it is

What we’ll never ask of your centre.

  • To observe contact, take notes or write reports. Supported centres don’t, and we would never suggest it.
  • To confirm attendance, or pass anything between the parents for us.
  • To settle disagreements between the parents.
  • To take referrals through us. Families come to you through your own process.
  • To be listed, ranked or advertised. We don’t do that for anyone.

NACCC’s protocol for the courts is clear that supported centres don’t monitor or report on contact. ParentGlow is built to sit alongside that, not to change it.

Safety first

An app never replaces a risk assessment.

  • Where a court order limits contact between the parents, what the order allows comes first. Using ParentGlow doesn’t change that.
  • Where a risk assessment says contact should be supervised, indirect or not happen at all, an app is no substitute.
  • Anything a parent puts in the shared calendar or messages can be seen by the other parent, including places.

Does ParentGlow ask contact centres to do anything?

No. Families can use ParentGlow around their visits without the centre having an account. We will never ask a centre to observe contact, take notes, write reports or settle disagreements between parents.

Can a centre see a family’s messages?

No. There is no centre access to family records today. If we add it, the plan is handover arrangements only: no messages and no expenses.

Does NACCC endorse ParentGlow?

No. NACCC does not approve apps, and it does not endorse ParentGlow. If centre access is ever added, we would check centres against NACCC’s list of accredited centres; NACCC accredits centres, not individual staff.

Does ParentGlow replace a contact centre?

No. A centre gives families a neutral place and, where it is needed, supervision. An app gives neither.

Can parents use it if there is a non-molestation order?

Only if the order allows contact in that way. The wording of the order decides what contact is allowed, and using an app does not change it. A solicitor or a free advice service can explain what an order allows.

What does it cost families?

It is free during early access, and at launch one plan covers both parents rather than charging each of them. Current prices are on our pricing page.

General information for England and Wales, checked against the app on 28 September 2026. For parents, our guide to child contact centres explains supported and supervised contact. See also how professional access works.

The professional register opens soon

Hear first when it opens.

The professional portal is built. The register, which checks every professional before they can read anything, opens soon. There’s no date yet, and we won’t guess one.
