Honest comparison
ParentGlow vs amicable
amicable combines a co-parenting app with access to wider human support. ParentGlow is a UK-built shared organiser for both homes. Here is the current, source-checked picture on pricing and the free trial, without pretending either is right for every family.
The short version
One subscription, not two.
This is the important correction to older comparisons. amicable’s July 2026 explainer says both parents use linked accounts, but only one subscription is needed between them. Its current app page offers a 7-day free trial.
That means amicable is not a per-person app charge in the way some comparisons previously suggested. Its current app page does not list a subscription amount, so this page does not present an older figure as today’s price.
Side by side
Two UK options, built around different kinds of help.

Price check, clearly dated
What amicable publishes today.
On 8 October 2026, amicable’s current app page said “Start your 7-day free trial today” and “It’s free to download”. Its 16 July 2026 explainer said both linked parents need the app and that one subscription covers both. Neither current page displayed a subscription amount.
An older official article, last reviewed on 18 June 2025, lists £9.99 a month or £99.99 a year. That is useful historical context, not a claim about today’s checkout. Read amicable’s older price article, then check the app for the amount you would actually pay.
Common questions
Straight answers about amicable.
Does amicable charge both parents?
amicable’s July 2026 co-parenting-app explainer says that both parents need linked accounts, but that only one subscription is needed between them. Check its current app terms and checkout before subscribing, because subscription arrangements can change.
Is amicable free?
No ongoing free tier is described on amicable’s current app page. It advertises a 7-day free trial and says the app is free to download. That is different from a free plan after the trial.
How much does amicable cost?
amicable’s current app page does not publish a subscription amount. An older amicable article, last reviewed in June 2025, lists £9.99 a month or £99.99 a year. Because that article is not a current pricing page, check in the app before relying on either figure.
When might amicable be the better fit?
amicable may suit parents who want its co-parenting tools alongside access to its wider specialist support. ParentGlow may suit UK parents looking for a shared organiser with one plan covering both homes. Neither app is legal advice or a safety plan.
